The City of Geneva, the University of Geneva and Infomir have joined forces to better understand the current and future challenges of “smart” public lighting.

For this purpose, a study is conducted on the basis of two “test” sites equipped with LED luminaires, with the possibility of intelligent management (lowering, detection, etc.) of the lighting. Several scenarios have been put in place with fixed and dynamic lighting.

This research work will lead to a thesis in territorial development at the University of Geneva, Faculty of Sciences of the society.

The two test sites, Parc des Franchises and part of rue Voltaire, have very different situations, uses and issues.

Yesterday took place the first walk on both sites in small groups to access an expert vision, technical, professional.

A success!
